Rope Tech is frequently employed to undertake maintenance projects where the work is high up or the access is difficult. Often the cost of using traditional access solutions‚ such as scaffolding or MEWPS‚ is out of all proportion to the work being done. Sometimes it is just not possible to use other access methods.
Over the years Rope Tech has built up a strong team of technicians able to competently perform a wide variety of maintenance tasks. Using rope access our teams carry out the work with the minimum of disruption to others at the site.
The maintenance work we do includes:
- Vertical window cleaning
- Cleaning non vertical glass; atriums‚ ‘A’ frames‚ glass roofs
- Cleaning building facades‚ signs‚ coping‚ brickwork‚ concrete
- Painting – we have worked with a wide variety of paint systems
- Pointing‚ re-pointing‚ rendering repairs
- Changing light bulbs
- High level dusting and vacuum cleaning
- Hanging or repairing banners
It is fair to say that cleaning glass‚ facades‚ and signs on commercial buildings is a substantial part of our maintenance teams’ work. Over the years we have tried many different ways to do the cleaning but we have discovered that using operatives on ropes‚ hand cleaning the surfaces‚ puts them in more direct contact with the job and leads to the very best results. Our clients really appreciate the personal touch and the excellent results that our approach brings to the job.
Whatever your difficult access maintenance problem is just give us a call. We’ve probably come across it before but if not we are always happy to work in consultation with our clients to make sure we send the best people to get the job done.
