Rope Tech International Limited (RTI) was established around fifteen years ago by a team of rope access specialists and commercial divers who met whilst working on North Sea oil platforms.

Initially established to service the petrochemical sector RTI quickly moved into other markets onshore. We have grown to become one of the best known names in the field of industrial rope access with a reputation for high quality‚ professional work and innovative solutions to difficult access problems. We have also been at the forefront of developments in our industry with representation on the executive committee of IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association).

With proven rope access expertise of the highest standard we have built a multi disciplined team to tackle the wide variety of work that we undertake. We place the utmost emphasis on staff training to ensure that our operatives are fully competent in the work that they do. We ensure this through a combination of external courses‚ in-house training and through a company wide mentoring system.

Operating prolifically in the areas of Inspection‚ Maintenance‚ Installations and Geotechnical work RTI has added capability through its sister company Dragon Safety Systems (DSS). DSS is one of the largest IRATA rope access training companies in the UK and has been teaching height safety and rope access for over fifteen years. It runs courses at dedicated purpose built training centres in London and North Wales and has recently opened a new centre in Las Vegas‚ North America. DSS also undertakes consultancy for business in the UK to assist them with interpreting the recent changes in working at height legislation for their organisations.

Our training capability gives us an interesting edge in the rope access contracting work that we do‚ particularly overseas. We are often asked to train local operatives to IRATA level 1 as part of a larger rope access contract.
